About Us

The Butternut Lodge is absolute country luxury filled with beautiful hardwoods, natural stonework and hand-wrought metals. From sand-cast bronze door knockers to African Mahogany floors, from hand-thrown pottery dishes to handmade onyx lights, every detail is meant to excite the senses in rustic elegance. It’s perfect for two or three families (or one very lucky family). 

Our east side location gets beautiful sunsets that can be enjoyed from the dock, the fire-pit, BBQ area, the hot-tub, the enclosed porch or master bedrooms. Explore our 24 acres or the adjoining 1,000’s of acres of beautiful Adirondacks. It’s a two-minute walk to the trail-head where you can enjoy a strenuous 1.5 mile hike up Buck Mountain or a leisurely 15-minute walk/hike to the Ledge, both with amazing vistas.  It’s wonderful to be surrounded by nature yet still be a short drive to the heart of Lake George Village. 

Technology: Multiple Internet Access Points = seamless WiFi throughout home and property, smart TVs, home theater room, Sonos ceiling speakers, whole-house filtered UV treated water, central air, radiant floor heat, fog-free heated bathroom mirrors, massage chair, etc. 

Kids of all ages will LOVE:
• The rustic Pine Bedroom where you can crawl under the king bunk, climb up the swing rope and explore the loft and secret room.
• The jujitsu room has padded 9 ft walls and floors: play Virtual Reality (Oculus Quest), Nerf Basketball, hit the speed bag or roll around, and make noise in a safe, sound-proof environment.
• The playroom: Play the piano or numerous board games, billiards, Foos Ball, ping-pong, darts and more!
• Home Theater Room: A dedicated high fidelity room with tiered seating provides an outstanding movie theater or gaming experience.  Play Xbox One or watch endless content on all Smart TVs which are set up with YouTubeTV, Netfix, Prime, HBO, Disney+ Cinemax, Showtime, and more!  
• Outdoor amenities: Badminton, extra-large hot tub, BBQ area, fire pit, 2 stand-up paddle boards, 3 kayaks, etc.

Oak Bedroom: King bed (adjustable), lake views, giant skylights, master bathroom with large Jacuzzi and walk-in shower (sleeps 2)

Cherry Bedroom: King Bed (adjustable), lake views, gas fireplace, Smart TV, master bathroom with walk-in shower and makeup table. (sleeps 2)

Pine Bedroom: King/single bunk-bed, standard bunk-bed, loft, secret room (sleeps 5 or more)

Butternut Bedroom: 2 bunk-beds (sleeps 4)

Loft: king bed (sleeps 2)
